Scone Equine Group

We welcome the Scone Equine Group as returning sponsors and official veterinarians of the 2018 Landmark Classic.

Many thanks to Andrew Pieper of the AELEC Bar who is returning in 2018 to sponsor the Dash for Cash Gelding Incentive, which see the top 10 geldings after two rounds of the Classic compete for a $5,000 prize purse.

Andrew and his team do an outstanding job of watering the busy crowds at the Classic every year!


A blistering 90 point run was needed to take the outright lead and win the first AELEC Bar Gelding Dash for Cash. Tim McCarthy aboard "Kaspers Memphis" (One Moore Playboy x Kooroon Gem). Equal second and thrid was Charters Towers competitor Demi O'Brien on Amarok (Kayderoyal Voodoo x Glendora Bouquet) and Glenn Peacock Condor Spin O Lena (CD Rom x Yulgilbar Spin N Stylish). Fourth was Coolah competitor Troy Palmer on Binnia Alamo (Binnia Impressive Destiny x Yulgilbar Just a Playgirl). 

The winner took home a cool $2,000 cash and a One Moore Playboy service fee. Tim McCarthy is a part owner of One Moore Playboy and has kindly offered a service fee to the 2nd place getters Demi O'brien and Troy Palmer.

Our Company Wazzacow Cutter has had the pleasure of not only attending this epic show and seeing the best of the best in Australian horsemanship, we have gained enormous exposure for our range of training devices over the past 5 years.
