I grew up with horses and have worked in multiple areas of the performance horse industry. I have ridden competitively in a few different disciplines, but the years I spent working in the NT & WA really fuelled my passion for cow horse based sports! I’m looking forward to getting back out and about with some young horses this year.

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

I usually keep busy working my horses, squeezing in a lesson or catching up with family/friends. I’m also a keen swimmer and waterskiier when I have the time over summer!

Mark has grown up with horses and now breeds, competes and sells Australian Stock Horses. He in now a director of the Southern Campdraft Association and former President. Mark and his  family  compete at around 20 drafts per year and he is an Open Campdraft judge and accredited ASH judge.

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

Breeding, starting and competing our own horses particularly in the campdraft arena. Try to get some time with my family.

Maree Rogan

Having grown up on a 16,000 acre property at Quambone and spending over 20 years in the Tamworth area Maree has a broad knowledge within the rural industry.

Maree and her husband Peter have spent well over 20 years in the horse industry breeding, training and selling both Quarter horse and Australian Stock horses. She has competed in cuttings, snaffle bit futurities and campdrafting in NSW and Queensland. She bred CD Rom, a successful reining horse stallion, Chickasha Hope a well known cutting mare and now successful broodmare now owned by Karen and Claus Thrun. Peter and Maree has had a terrific strike rate with their horses they have sold at the Landmark Classic, with several of them returning and making the Classic final.

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

Spending time with my family, husband Peter, daughter Georgia and son Daniel on our property, breeding/training our horses and watching my son compete at rodeos.

Joel Fleming

10 years. Joel has worked as a Stock & Station Agent / Auctioneer in Goulburn NSW, Dubbo NSW, Dalby QLD and has been in Tamworth for 6 years.

Equine Experience

Joel and his family have all grown up around the horse industry especially campdrafting. Joel, his eldest brother Matthew and father Peter are all past Champion Rider title winners in the SCA. Joel has been campdrafting most of his life, although he has had a stint in the rodeo arena which led him to compete in the Saddle Bronc at the Royal Sydney Easter Show back in 2012.

Livestock marketing, Auctioneering, Stud stock, and Performance Horse's. Joel was the 2010 NSW Champion Auctioneer, 2011 QLD Champion Auctioneer, and the 2012 Australian Champion Auctioneer. Joel is the only Auctioneer ever to win both a NSW & QLD title.

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

Belinda (wife) and I purchased a bare block a few years back so we are still improving it when we get a chance and attend a few local Campdrafts through the warmer months.

Andrew Wishart

I have been involved with horses all my life, my main interests lie in performance horses, cutting and campdrafting. I purchased a gelding from the Classic that I am keen to get going drafting.  

Area of expertise

Auctioneering, Genitics and Marketing. After leaving school I was employed by Hannan Livestock Pty Ltd of Ladysmith NSW and furthered my skills and knowledge to hold roles of Livestock Manager and Assistant Manager. I've gained extensive feedlot experience and it was also when I began an association with my long time friend Phil Webb. 

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

Spending time with my children and training a few horses keep me pretty busy these days.

I have been involved with horses all my life, from competing in my younger years at junior and senior rodeos, polocrosse and campdrafting to which I still compete at local Campdrafts when possible. I am the current president for the Toobeah Campdraft Committee a position I have held for the past eight years. I have purchased 3 horses over various years from the Tamworth sale, the first 2 being Classic finalists and the third missing the final by 1 point.

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

I enjoy spending time with my wife Elissa our daughters Sophie and Jessica and attending their sporting ventures, catching up with family and friends and competing at local Campdrafts. I also do a number of Auctions for different Charity and Sporting organisations.

My family and I,  wife Rachel, Daughters Madeline, Amelia  and son Angus  are all keen horse people and enjoy a variety of horse sports which include campdrafting and leisure riding. We have bought horses from the last three Classic sales and have had plenty of fun with them.

We run a successful commercial cattle marketing business and have held the number one position in property sales in the Upper Hunter region.

We take time out to run our own rural interests, keep busy with the kids sporting commitments and attend local campdraft's.

I grew up riding, my father competed at rodeo's and trained racehorses which led in me riding track work. I also attended pony club through to associate level and rode ponies and galloway's at the Brisbane Royal. I got into campdrafting in my late teens through friends and aslo did some team roping.

What do you do when you aren't working at Landmark

Spending quality time with my family, wife Amy, Daughter Charlotte  and Son Sidney on our property and also enjoy attending campdraft's and race meet's.

Terry Ryan

I have been around horses all of my life. I am a regular competitor at ASH shows, challenges, campdrafts and agricultural shows. I often judge at shows and am also a Pony Club instructor, which I enjoy helping young riders. One of my competition highlights was winning the SE Qld 2012 Snaffel Bit NCHA Champioin.

Matching horses to riders requirements at sales and sale negations  with vendors and buyers. 

What do you do when you aren't working for Landmark

Show horses and work my own grain and cattle fattening property at Chinchilla. I am also involved in local community and charity activities in my surrounding district.
